Politico is the paper that first came up with the whole "Macron called Eastern Europeans russophobic" for example and it was picked up by several newspapers in Eastern Europe (to this day you see Poles and people from other eastern EU countries on this very sub regurgitating this). Or perharps this has more to do with Axel Springer than this guy? I heard the latter was the new owner. since when does he own it? Is he responsible for the sudden turn Politico took a year or two ago (constantly shitting on Germany and France, clickbait titles, half-quotes, deliberate mistranslations and clearly oriented articles about them meant to manufacture outrage)? There has been a sudden editorial shift since then of what was a fairly good outlet.
